Frequently asked questions

What teams ask us most about Avon AI and running AI agents in production.

About Avon AI

What is Avon AI?

Avon AI is a platform built to accelerate your adoption of AI agents. It reviews every conversation your agents have, whether built in-house or by a vendor, and gives your business team one place to find issues, fix them and continuously validate every agent, so you can scale with confidence.

What does it mean to manage an AI agent?

Launching an agent is only step one. Once it's live, customers ask things nobody planned for, and models, knowledge and policies change. Managing an agent means checking every conversation, fixing what goes wrong and continuously validating that the agent still behaves the way your business approved.

How do I know if my AI agents are actually working correctly?

Issues don't announce themselves. They compound quietly across thousands of conversations until they surface as a customer escalation, a regulatory finding or a reputational problem. Avon AI checks every conversation, so you see what your agents are saying before your customers tell you.

Who is Avon AI built for?

Compliance, product, operations and customer-experience teams that are accountable for what their AI agents say. Rules and tests are written in plain language, so no AI expertise or code is needed.

Who is behind Avon AI?

Avon AI was founded in 2025 by Chen Markman (CEO) and Amit Segev (CTO), leaders who deployed AI agents in production in regulated environments. The company is based in Tel Aviv. Meet the team.

Avon AI and other tools

How is Avon AI different from other AI agent monitoring tools?

Most tools monitor conversations. Avon AI also traces each issue to its cause, fixes it in the platform, and turns every finding into a test that reruns whenever the agent, its model or its data changes. It runs inside your perimeter, on your own model. See the full comparison.

Does my agent vendor's monitoring cover my business?

Agent providers are excellent at building and running agents. Their monitoring tools are built to show that their system is working as intended. That is not the same as showing that your agent is aligned with your business, your policies and your commitments to your customers. A single vendor only sees their own agents, not your whole fleet. And when a model updates or a knowledge base changes, their tools flag technical issues, not alignment failures. That gap is what Avon AI is built for.

How do observability tools and AI agent management tools differ?

Observability tools help the teams building AI applications trace what happened inside a system, and they are necessary. Avon AI works alongside them: it checks every conversation against your business rules, traces each issue to its cause, and turns it into a test. Together they cover both how the system runs and what the agent says.

How it works

How does Avon AI find, fix and validate issues?

Find: every conversation is checked against your rules, with more than 20 built-in checks for hallucinations, loops, pushback and policy breaks, ranked by severity and frequency. Fix: each issue is traced to its cause, whether the data, the prompt, a guardrail or a tool, and fixed through the platform. Continuously validate: every issue becomes a test that runs whenever the prompt, model, knowledge base or vendor agent changes.

Does Avon AI work with agents from multiple vendors?

Yes, that is exactly what our platform is built for. Most enterprises run agents from multiple vendors plus agents they built internally. Avon AI sits above all of them as a neutral layer, one management plane across your entire fleet.

Does Avon AI work for both voice and chat agents?

Yes. One platform for both, regardless of vendor, modality or underlying model. Whether your agents handle customer conversations over voice, chat or both, they are monitored, tested and managed in one place.

Does Avon AI work with any LLM or cloud provider?

Yes, Avon AI is LLM-agnostic and cloud-agnostic by design. Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex and on-premises models are all supported at the same time. Your governance layer stays stable as foundation models evolve, as you test new providers, or as you migrate between them.

Setup and security

Does adding Avon AI require changes to existing infrastructure?

Nothing changes in your existing setup. Avon AI sits above your agents as an independent layer, with no modifications to your infrastructure. It works with agents built in-house or by any vendor, any LLM, voice or chat.

Where does Avon AI run?

Wherever your security policy requires. SaaS is fully managed: Avon hosts the platform and works alongside your team from day one. On-prem runs the full platform inside your own environment, in your private or hybrid cloud or on your own servers, on an LLM you approve, so no production data ever leaves your infrastructure.

How long does it take to get started?

Most teams are up and running within a week. Setup is five steps, split between your team and ours: a kickoff meeting, choosing your LLM provider, connecting your conversations, a training session and a joint calibration session.
